Mosque Visit

There are close to 2 billion Muslims worldwide. Many of them have never had Jesus Christ accurately represented to them. Many of them are your neighbors. If you have a heart to reach out and engage them in friendship, pray for them, and re-present the love and power of Jesus to them this is a good opportunity for you!
We will be visiting a local mosque in Lancaster City during the Muslim prayer time on a Friday afternoon. We’ll have a chance to meet the mosque leader, ask questions, and learn about the customs and beliefs of Islam.
Andres Prins, who has been working in Muslim/Christian relations for many years as well as spending several decades in North Africa will be our guide for this visit. The schedule is as follows:
11:30 AM: Meet at Alpha and Omega Church of the Brethren for orientation.
12:30 PM: Walk to the mosque. (about a ten minute walk.)
1:00 PM: Observe the sermon and prayers.
2:00 PM: Q&A with the mosque leader.
2:45 PM: Walk back to the church for debrief and prayer.
3:45 PM: Conclusion.
